Parent / Teen-Tween Remote Sync
Use the Teen / Tween Trust page on the parent phone to choose approved functions, pair the Teen / Tween Quick PWA, protect the dashboard with a PIN, and synchronize future changes over the Internet.
1. Prepare the Parent Settings
- On the parent phone, open /teen-tween-trust-functions/.
- Sign in to the guardian area, complete the Teen / Tween profile, choose approvals, and save both the profile and approvals.
2. Open the Teen / Tween PWA
- On the teen/tween phone, open /teen-tween-quick-dashboard/.
- The first setup displays a temporary 8-character pairing code.
3. Pair the Phones
- On the parent Teen / Tween Trust page, tap Remote Sync.
- Enter the pairing code and tap Pair Teen / Tween.
- The code expires after 15 minutes. If needed, reopen the PWA to create another code.
4. Add Dashboard PIN Protection
- In Remote Sync, turn on Require a PIN.
- Create a 4β12 digit PIN.
- Choose 15 minutes, 1 hour, 8 hours, or 24 hours for the unlock period.
- Tap Save Security.
The PIN is stored as a one-way password hash, not readable text. Emergency 911 remains available from the lock screen.
5. What Synchronizes
The system synchronizes the saved Teen / Tween profile and guardian approvals. Guardian login credentials are not uploaded. When the parent changes an approval, the corresponding text button appears or disappears on the Teen / Tween dashboard.
6. Ongoing Changes
Continue making changes on the parent Teen / Tween Trust page. The plugin watches the saved profile and approvals and sends changes automatically. The PWA checks for updates every few seconds while open and whenever it returns to the foreground.
7. Offline / Unpairing
Protected synchronized information requires Internet access to unlock and retrieve current data. To remove a device, open Remote Sync on the parent phone and tap Unpair. A new pairing code will be required before that device can synchronize again.
